A Kirk is Born!

On January 4th, 2010 Russell, wife Rachel, and family welcomed into the world Royce Mason Kirk, born 9lbs 11oz 21in. Royce is the first addition to the family and both he and wife Rachel are perfectly healthy. Check out Russell’s Facebook page for all of the baby pictures.

2010 Japan Tour

In January of 2010 I will be heading off to Japan with Jazz Legend Gary Thomas and a few select students from the Peabody conservatory in Baltimore. We will be performing several concerts and a possible recording. I will keep you posted as more details are put in place.

Appointed Director of Music

2008 Artist Grant Recipient

Russell Kirk was recently awarded the 2008 Maryland State Arts Council Artist Grant, under the category of Music Performance. Kirk also won in 2007 under the composition Category.

Canadian Tour
